Please choose the appropriate loop for your webbing. There is a quick selection on the webbing page too. For a one-sided sewn end loop please choose the amount 1. For both-sided sewn end loop the amount 2 per slackline. Please be aware that one sewn loop shortens the webbing by around 20 cm.
High-quality, simple sewn end loop for Aki slackline webbings with integrated Soft Thimble layer. Specially designed for the usage with soft shackles. Each Aki end loop was developed and optimized individually for the respective webbing type. As a result, outstanding breaking load values of generally over 95% of the MBS of the webbing are achieved. This means that the end loops sometimes have higher breaking loads than can be achieved with modern weblocks. An innovative novelty which we were able to accomplish through a complex development process and many breaking load tests on our own AkiSnap test system.
We manufacture the end loops "in-house" after your order. Thanks to the latest sewing technology, using a Brother BAS311-HN-07A large-area bartacking machine, a webbing fixture developed by us, the latest needle type from Groz-Beckert, the extremely robust Amann Serabond sewing thread and the control of all manufacturing parameters, we achieve a consistently high quality and thus safety.
We have developed a new sewing principle for our Polar and Voyage (Wizard) slacklines, the so-called Aki Loop Booster (ALB). The flow of force is particularly softly transfered into the sewn loop. As a result, stress peaks can be effectively reduced and the webbing strength is used extremely well. Finally, the full strength potential of modern slackline webbings can be used in practice again. Previously existing sewing solutions generally had a loss of 4 to 6 kN (20%) due to the sewing.
The loop is protected from abrasion by a robust polyamide tube. The integrated Soft Thimble layer made of Sonic 2 webbing increases the breaking strength of the loop in combination with soft shackles. Though 8mm quicklinks does not fit into this puffy loops. Shackles with 25mm mouth width fitting good.
