Aki Backup Extender Eco Light

Light backup extender for extending standard lengths of backup webbings in segmented highline setups. The extender is sewn from remnants of Sonic Light and has a minimum strength of 25 kN with a weight of 55g per meter. The extender has 20 cm long sewn end loops on both sides. A short piece of protective tube is threaded at the side where the extender is attached into the split connection. There is no protective tube on the girth hitch side to the backup webbing in order to keep the volume of the connection as small as possible (easier sliding of the leash ring).

The extender is available in different lengths. The length to be used depends on the length of the mainline segment, mainline material, pretension, body weight, backup loop length, type of use of the highline, etc.
