Aki Backup Extender Eco Strong

Strong and robust backup extender for extending standard length backup webbings in segmented highline riggs. The extender is sewn from leftover pieces of the legendary Sonic II and has a minimum strength of 33 kN with a weight of 70g per meter. The extender has 20 cm long end loops sewn on both sides. A short piece of protective tubing is pulled over the side where the extender is hooked into the split connection. There is no protective tubing on the anchor stitch side in order to keep the volume of the connection as small as possible (easier to slide the leash ring over).

The extender is available in different lengths. The length to be used depends on the mainline segment length, mainline material, pre-tension, body weight, backup loop length, type of use of the highline, etc.
