HPPE stands for High Performance PolyEthylene. The best-known fiber of this type of material is known under the name Dyneema. Slackline webbing made of HPPE are characterized by their extreme breaking load to weight ratio. In this way, ultra-light lines with a high breaking load can be realized. The additional feature of the extremely low stretch ensures excellent controllability when walking and easy setup. In 2010 Aki / Landcruising published the first Dyneema webbing Aeon specially developed for slackline sports.
